Quick answers
Every project is unique, so pricing depends on your specific needs and scope. Think of it like a house, you can have a small starter home or a large mansion, with all the different amount of rooms, and architecture based on the amount you need. You can find starting rates on my contact page, or see my services for a full breakdown of what’s included at each level.
Timelines vary by scope, but during the discovery call & proposal we can generally finalize the project scope and meet deadlines. Also, if a project needs to be rushed I can meet those deadlines with a rushed fee or an additional collab with a hired on team. Additionally, I charge for the week's worth of work so our Creative Journey go by weeks.
I like to think of this as a Creative Journey that we hike together on. There are a lot of conversations that happen in the pre-production phase of the project so that your needs are listed as much as possible. In this stage a lot of things can be explored so your feedback and revisions are easier to make and you are not charged for revisions at this stage. Once all details are approved and we move into the production phase there is a portal assigned to clients with tasks and an admin station. This admin station helps keep track of what was said and what we've agreed upon during the project. This includes: every major milestone *with associated dates, project road map to see what was accomplished and what is still ahead and a revision tracker. Revision tracker shows two revisions; what that revision was. Whenever the you creates a comment in our various channels I include that into the tracker. There are two allotted slots per revision tracker per project that goes in affect after the preproduction phase. If there are needed for more production or post production revisions the client is charged 1/4th the final project proposal cost per additional revision.
I do not build websites, however, I do design the UI (User Interface design is the process of creating the visual and interactive look of digital products like apps, websites, and software). I primarily do this on Shopify, Squarespace, and Wix for website platforms, but also do sites like TPT, social media pages, Substack, and offer elements that can be used in custom websites, apps, and other software. Packages vary on the complexity of the project. I am willing also to sign NDAs.
Yes, all packages can be split into installments. Typically all packages are split into 2 installments, with 50% needing to be accepted into the bank before you receive the portal link, and 50% received before the final handouts of the digital product is given, but I’m happy to walk you through options on a discovery call for larger project amounts above $5,000.
AI never touches the actual design process. That said, AI is in a lot of programs and on the back end can help in research, understanding the market, help with vibe coding (for example in Wix or Claude), and many more small tasks. I am always upfront with my clients if they want to use AI and we talk about that through the pre production phase. I would rather however, to do as little as possible with AI as it actually doesn't help the creative journey and can run into legal/ethical issues.
This will be a part of the proposal section in your packets during the onboarding stage. That said: Payment system: 50% to start and 50% on delivery, before final files are released. For larger projects I do offer by milestone and can be paid in a Net 30 upon request for certain projects. Late fees: 1.5% per month (18% a year) Please note, These offers include different revision amounts based on project scope. Additional revisions will require additional rates included in final cost, however will be signaled to you when these revisions are used and when more is needed I will reach out in communication with this so no there will be no confusion/surprises. Out of scope: Out-of-scope requests are billed hourly or through a signed change order. Large changes trigger a new proposal.Late to feedback: Deadlines move day-for-day with client delays. Feedback is due within a set window seen in the Client Portal. if not given approvals or feedback within the due date, I will not work on in time counts as accepted. I also charge a suspension or restart fee based on the lateness to start up. The deadlines are then extended by the amount of time the work was suspended. Client Copy: The client is responsible for supplying content in usable form, for proofreading, and for making sure its claims are accurate and legal. The client also warrants it has rights to everything it supplies.Cancelation fee: If the client decides to cancel the project immediately stops. All mid-work will not be turned into the client. There will be a cancellation fee that is the following: standard is 25% on assignment, 50% after pre-production and 100% after production.File retention: You have 15 days to transfer the final product, and the client is responsible for backups. Retrieval after the window often costs a fee.Ownership: You own only the final delivery, any roughs, raws and other sources/elements are the artist's ownership before the off boarding.
